What to Design:
We are inviting talented designers to create a premium NFC tag that not only enhances productivity but also adds a touch of sophistication to any home office. Your design should:
- Fit Any Desk: Ensure the NFC tag integrates seamlessly with a modern home-office aesthetic.
- Material Freedom: You are free to choose any materials you prefer for the design. The key is that the final product must feel premium and high-quality, irrespective of the materials used.
- Embody Minimalism: Aim for a sleek, stylish look that would be right at home on Pinterest. The design should marry function with a high-end feel.
- Magnetic Back: Include a magnet on the back side to allow attachment to metal surfaces like refrigerators
- Silicone Padding: Add silicone padding on the back to ensure a tight, non-slip connection with any surface, providing stability and preventing scratches.
Competition Overview:
- Competitor: Our main competition, GetBrick, utilizes 3D printing to produce their devices. We aim to differentiate by focusing on the aesthetic and tactile quality of our NFC tag, using superior materials and a more elegant design to elevate the user experience beyond what typical 3D-printed products offer.
Design Objectives:
- Ergonomics: Ensure the device is comfortable and practical for everyday use.
- Durability: Focus on the longevity and sturdiness of the design, considering daily handling.
- Technology Integration: Incorporate the NFC technology, using a chip that is 25 mm in diameter. It must be placed close to the top surface to remain readable and functional.
